Personal Power Personal power is trust of one's self in motion So often we listen to the advice or wisdom of the people we hold in high regard, usually trusting their input over our own inner knowingness. It is so easy to give up our power and believe someone else instead of trusting the inner voice of our Soul. And than we wonder why we are confused, why we don't know our path, why spirit isn't speaking to us. We have been trained since early childhood to seek God, or Spirit, outside of ourselves. Too often we are taught to give the power to petition God or Spirit on our behalf over to a Minister, a psychic or a reader. For many lifetimes this pattern has been ingrained in our Soul. It's no wonder that today, as we all struggle to awaken to our inner truth, we are ill-prepared to assume the responsibility for our own growth and development. Somewhere, we lost the ability to know our own way; we lost the ability to hear God speak to us individually. Perhaps its not that we lost the ability so much as we lost the desire to think for ourselves and to assume the responsibility for our own creation of life. We are more concerned with the labels that define us and separate us, that keep us safe in society, than with truly exploring and owning who we are. It is easier to say "I am an E.T." or "I am an angel" or whatever you identify with, than to say, "I am not a human." When did human become so terrible? The truth is we are all from somewhere else and if we could have done the work we came to Earth to do from outside of the human body or experience, we would have stayed there. One of the gifts of the human condition is to reason for your self, to be able to connect with Source, know that you are Source, interpret that and make it your own. We are unique in this world because we have this ability. Other life forms here do not. So, having this gift allows us to develop our own connection to God, or Spirit, and to be able to use that information the unique way that is appropriate to us as individuals. That's why your truth can and is different from any other person's truth. The bigger question to ask is why are you afraid to own the power and responsibility of your inner relationship to your soul and to God or Spirit? What is the fear that holds you back from being the master creator you came here to be? When you can answer these questions for yourself the path you seek, the wisdom you search for becomes your own inner truth. You become God or Spirit in human form. That is the core of each of our journeys. To be the truth of whom you are. To have the courage to express it. To own it and to live it. Be the unique expression of God or Spirit that you feel led to be. Learn the feel, or sound, of your soul, and follow it. Earth needs you to be the being you choose to be when deciding this life. The times we have all waited for is here, now. The Earth needs to transform. She does that as we transform, as we own our power and become the expression of God or Spirit in human form. So, the next time you wonder why you are here, go inside and ask what you can do in this moment to be Source in motion. What can you do to touch another life and help it see the truth of itself? How can you help someone know who they are and that they are, in their own way, a perfect reflection of God? If you do this, you become the healing center many of us long to create and own. We forget that the human body is a temple, a holy center in and of itself, carrying the Soul of God or Spirit on Earth. The function of any healing center is to be a resource so others can find their way in remembering the truth of who they are. Owning your personal power and having conscious responsibility for that inner power will allow you the freedom and peace you seek. It will be the answer you have searched for, the map to the path you are traveling and the reason you are here. You will know your mission and believe you can fulfill it. Personal power is trust of one's self in motion, knowing in each moment that everything is as it should be: that you and God are one.
